The actor - who is due to reprise his role as the suave British spy in new movie Quantum of Solace later this year - is rumored to have signed a deal worth around $60m to make four 007 films.

But Craig insists he doesn't need the money - and isn't taking any thing for granted.

He says, "I have all I need. Materialistically, I'm in good shape. I genuinely don't need anything.

"Economically the world is in quite a lot of trouble so who knows if we can afford to do another Bond movie anytime soon?

"I'm quite superstitious and I don't take anything for granted. I'd love to do another one though, love to.
