VILNIUS - Daniel Craig, star of the James Bond film Casino Royale, will be in town later this month to shoot his latest project.
‘Defiance’, helmed by Blood Diamond director Ed Zwick will tell the story of Jewish partisans fighting the Nazis from the forests of Belarus. It is based on true events in which a community of escaped Jews established a remarkably sophisticated society hidden among the trees while harrying and eluding German forces.
The film is believed to have a budget of around 50 million dollars and shooting is expected to take place in Vilnius for around six weeks from late August.
