Холли Берри и Джоан Сеймур снова в Бондиане?

According to a report by Contact Music, Daniel Craig "wants veteran Bond girl JANE SEYMOUR to feature in the next instalment of the spy series - as his love interest".

Seymour, 57, starred opposite Roger Moore in 1973's Live And Let Die, and Craig is apparently "petitioning movie bosses to bring her back for his follow-up to last year's Casino Royale".

The site quotes Craig as saying, "Casino Royale was about early James Bond and I love the idea of him revisiting his past and meeting up with ex-loves. That has to include Jane Seymour. I'm a huge fan, I thought she was fantastic."

According to the latest Hollywood gossip column in London's Metro newspaper, Halle Berry is making noise that she is 'desperate' to star in another James Bond film - this time opposite Daniel Craig.

В США вручены награды за лучшие спецэффекты

Приз за "лучшие спецэффекты второго плана" (Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects) получила драма "Флаги наших отцов" (Flags of Our Fathers) Клинта Иствуда (Clint Eastwood). Награды за "лучшие спецэффекты в кино" была удостоена последняя серия бондианы "Казино Рояль" с Дэниелом Крэйгом в главной роли.

RAI Синема выкупит права на 'Северное Сияние' в Италии

ROME — RAI Cinema has acquired rights for Italy to "The Golden Compass" from New Line.
First installment in the trilogy, which echoes "The Lord of the Rings," will be a Christmas 2007 Italian release, shortly after the $150 million Chris Weitz-directed pic starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig debuts Stateside via Warner Bros.

Purchase for an undisclosed multi-million dollar sum is believed to be the highest investment ever made for a film by RAI Cinema, whch is the film unit of pubcaster RAI. Via its 01 Distribuzione arm, RAI Cinema in 2006 commanded a 10% share of the Italian market, ahead of Sony and Warner Bros.

Bond Star Daniel Craig Named Best Actor

LONDON Feb 4, 2007 (AP)— Daniel Craig was honored but Helen Mirren was denied Sunday at the 34th annual Evening Standard British Film Awards.

Craig was named best actor for "Casino Royale," his debut outing as James Bond. Craig, who has won both critical praise and box office favor as the first blond Bond, is also up for the best-actor prize at next week's British Academy Film Awards.

Mirren, who is an Academy Awards favorite for her turn as Queen Elizabeth II in "The Queen," lost the best actress prize to Judi Dench, awarded for her portrayal of a predatory schoolteacher in "Notes on a Scandal."

The best-film prize went to "United 93," Paul Greengrass' harrowing dramatization of the final flight of one of the planes hijacked in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Best Actor -- "...We close out the top ten with new James Bond Daniel Craig and V for Vendetta's Hugo Weaving. Craig did exactly what was asked of him in Casino Royale. He recreated James Bond as the more cultured brute that author Ian Fleming had imagined when he wrote the character. The result was a fantastic reboot for the series and new life for a character that many people had outgrown.

Тимоти Далтон: "Крэйг - замечательный Бонд"

Former 007 actor TIMOTHY DALTON is full of praise for DANIEL CRAIG - hailing him one of the best JAMES BONDs ever. The British actor, who played the superspy in 1987's THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS and 1989's LICENSE TO KILL, was bemused at the criticism levelled at Craig before CASINO ROYALE was even released. And Dalton is glad Craig has proved them wrong with his powerhouse performance in last year's (06) blockbuster hit. He says, "Daniel was a wonderful Bond in a great James Bond movie. I'm delighted for him."
