ACTOR Jamie Bell has told how he has the coolest brother in the world . . . James Bond star Daniel Craig.

I have no experience of having brothers so the way me, Daniel and Liev bonded was fascinating.

“Daniel teased me a lot. He saw my feeble facial hair and was like, ‘What’s this? But I’ve known him for a long time. I think of him from Our Friends in the North, not Bond.

“He’s an amazing actor, he really heightens the scenes, heightens the material, elevates other people’s performances and commands the set. He’s in love with filmmaking and he wanted to create that brotherly bond between us all. heart

“I remember one day — there was always a little banter and wrestling around — he decided to throw me onto the bonnet of a car.

“I think that’s how James Bond plays with his brothers, ramming them into cars.

“We had a great time, hanging out, and having the odd vodka, because it was so damn cold.

Jamie Bell has revealed that Daniel Craig saved him from getting hypothermia.

The actor admitted that without Craig's "Hollywood power" he could have fallen seriously ill.

The pair were shooting outdoor scenes in Lithuania for their new movie Defiance when the Billy Elliot actor grew colder and colder.

"The conditions were ripe for a bout of, 'I'm not f**king doing this!' but the closest we got was Daniel standing up for me one day in the rain at the end of October, it was absolutely freezing," Contactmusic quotes him as saying.

"My body started to lose control, going into hypothermic shock, I think. He said, 'We have to stop, he's starting to freak out and he's going to die'. He used his Hollywood power for good."

Bell added that Craig's on-screen 'manly' demeanour similar to his real-life personality.

"It's daft, because you do have to be butch in the presence of Bond, but Daniel has a really good heart and said, 'You need to take a second and then come back'. He's very much the leader that he portrays in this film."

James Bond would throw a martini in the face of such a hinterland loser, but Craig shows up for his Broadway debut in a shapeless suit, sporting a tasteless mustache, a crude comb-over, a flawless Chicago accent, a psychologically battered visage and a remarkable weariness to his soul.
He looks exactly like a veteran, going-nowhere functionary at 35th and Michigan, or 26th and California, or wherever mostly decent people learn to subsume themselves to fit in and get by.
It is a most arresting transformation by this formidably skilled British actor.

Craig's Joey, a recovering alcoholic, is a more-shaded character, and the actor leaves 007 far behind. Sporting a moustache and wearing a nondescript coat and tie, he brings an affecting, world-weary, defeated-by-life quality to the man. He looks perpetually tired. Yet there is an underlying goodness that Craig manages to project without being maudlin or sentimental.

Craig also nails a Chicago accent, giving a credible impersonation of a man who has never left the Midwest. Jackson's accent, on the other hand, occasionally becomes more Outback than Uptown, an area of Chicago where the play's most pivotal episode takes place. But then he screams a lot on stage and with those shouts comes a return to his Australian roots.

Craig - an experienced London stage actor but a genuine discovery for Broadway - plays the milder-mannered Joey, a lonely alcoholic who seems to want to hide behind his bland mustache. He may be a less flashy character, but his drives are no less primal.

Craig is even more of a revelation. here, making his American stage debut, he delivers a highly convincing, engaging turn, complete with a terrific Chicago accent, which works beautifully. The two actors display a terrific chemistry together that should well translate to the inevitable screen version.

I saw A Steady Rain today (it was awesome; visit my journal for more details--some of this is just copy-pasted because I have to go see The Damned United in like ten minutes), and then the boys came out and signed autographs and talked with people and took photos WITH people, which is very rare and shows how lovely and sweet they are.
Then the girl next to me tried to take a photo of herself with Danny with her iPhone or whatever, but he couldn't get it to work. I don't know WHAT made me say it, but I went "You're James Bond! You're supposed to be good with gadgets!" And he went "I'm terrible with gadgets! Haven't you seen the movies? I just smash things" and I was like AHAHAHAHAHA YOU ARE OUTSTAAAAANDING. And then I offered--but I couldn't do it because I'm incompetent and I was shaking so badly I couldn't press the buttons. *FACEPALM* I was like "I'm so sorry, I'm shaking...I can't think why."
